Tiki FAQ'S

Our tours depart from the Frederiksted Pier. Guests will enter through the pier gates and meet us for boarding. We recommend arriving approximately 10-15 minutes prior to your tour time so we can get everyone aboard in a timely manner.

Yes. We require a minimum of 4 paying passengers for a trip to operate. If your group has fewer than 4 people, you can still reserve! We'll open the remaining seats to the public and only confirm the trip once the minimum has been met. Or you may be placed on a waiting list.

Absolutely! Private charters are a great option for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, weddings, family and work outings, and any other celebrations.

Guests under the age of 16 are welcome on private charters. A minimum of 8 paid passengers is required when booking a private charter. All private charters with children under the age of 16 must be reserved in advance by contacting an STX Tiki Tours booking agent.

Yes! Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks. We provide a large cooler with ice.

We currently provide a complimentary welcome aboard drink. You are encouraged to bring your favorite beverages for the duration of the trip or you can purchase select beer and wine options on board.

Yes! Our boat is equipped with a Bluetooth sound system, so you can connect your playlist or request certain genres of music.

Yes, a charging station is available aboard the tiki boat so you can keep your phone ready for all those Caribbean photo opportunities.

Yes, we anchor so guests can enjoy some time in the beautiful Caribbean water. Floats are available aboard for some serious saltwater relaxation.

If you would like to snorkel during your water time, we recommend bringing your own gear.

We recommend bringing, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, towel, swimsuit, and your favorite drinks and snacks. And of course don't forget your phone and/or camera!

Keep it casual and comfortable. Island attire, swimsuits, cover-ups, shorts, and sandals are all great choices. We recommend wearing something you don't mind getting a little wet.

Please use the restroom before boarding as there is no restroom on board.

We go rain or shine. However, your safety comes first, and Caribbean weather can change quickly, so our captain will make the final decision regarding weather and sea conditions. if conditions are unsafe, we'll communicate with you regarding rescheduling or other available options.

Your trip is operated by a USCG-certified captain and crew, so you can relax and enjoy the ride while we take care of the rest.

Yes. Guests are asked to complete our safety waiver online before arriving. Completing it ahead of time helps us get everyone aboard quickly without cutting into your tiki time.

Please do! If you can celebrate it, we can too! We just ask that you let us know what you're celebrating when you book, and we'll help make your trip one to remember.

For everyone's safety, we reserve the right to deny boarding to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated or whose behavior could create an unsafe environment aboard.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays and cruise ship days. With a maximum of 12 passengers, space can fill up quickly.

Yes! The legal drinking age in the U.S. Virgin Islands is 18 years of age. Guests must be 18 or older to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages. Valid ID is required.
